  • These larvae are feeding well on decayed oak/beech mulch - note that it is more important for protaetia/cetoniscema species to also have rotten wood in the substrate - or alternatively use flake soil. Keep mulch damp but not soaking wet. Temperature range is 22-26 degrees C. 3rd Instars require a cooler period in the winter months of approx 15 degrees. Larvae will usually develop in 9-12 months.

    Adults will feed on ripe fruit.
