This is the first time we have had this species available. They are captive Bred in the UK!
Adults feed on a combination of ripe fruit and jelly pots
Larvae will feed happily on decayed Leaf mulch, but in order to achieve the maximum weight it is recommended to feed larvae on flake soil, a fermented substrate with more nutrients. Or alternatively, if you choose to keep them on oak mulch then additional supplements should be added such as gamarus shrimp/Koi pellets.
Egg to adult - up to 24 months 
Adults have a long dormant period which can last for up to 6 months. Once active, they can live another 6 months However life expectancies in beetles can vary a huge ammount and are impossible to guarantee.
